The nurse manager of the mental illness centre was responsible to give us a talk about the patients there. it was about 2hours long!*relieved it was over*!

he told us a lot of stories of his patients.*macam2 kerenah ade!*

i did ask a question about how to respond to the patient if they started to talk something merepek2 like one of the patient claimed that there were hidden cameras aka cctv all around his room and the other patient said the person next door was observing her every single moving and even filming her porn video*what de!*.

the nurse manager's answer:

bla..bla..bla..

kesimpulannye,we dont have to agree or disagree. the best thing to do are listen, SMILE and say NOTHING!=)

at the end of the day,it changed my perspective towards psycho patients. i actually dun hv or not even need to be afraid of them. They are same like other people. yes.they talk nonsense,and may act violently, but as a doctor, im the one who have to be there for them. If they started to talk nonsense,try to understand and bring them step by step to the sources of the stories..

find ways on how to reveal the mysterios nonsense that they kept talking about..
bcoz there must be a story behind their stories..=)
