hehe. tadi secara xsengaja tertengok citer ni kat HBO. best2. based on true story on how herceptin was finally proven to be used clinically. hmmm.. banyak kot dpt input dari cerita ni. ok. sape xtahu pasal herceptin, siler google. hehe.

moral of the story:

1. how determine a doctor was, to save his patients life. banyak tentangan esp from pharmaceutical company (kot). doktor nak selamatkan nyawa patient, tapi company ni susah sgt nak luluskan phase1 trial. dorg takut nak invest on herceptin. takut rugi. baik invest on any other drugs yang lg bagus. hmmm.. doctor vs businessman.

2. doctor: sgt patient friendly, sgt caring. a good potray of a doctor in this movie. but not all. ade jugak doctor yang macam xde perasaan.

3. patients: sgt tabah.

4. wife: my favorite character. best. sgt understanding. kalau aku dah lame da lari balik kg. laki siang malam asyik fikir pasal herceptin. it was not a month or a year duration of time but it was almost 12years.

finally, herceptin is now used for her2+ breast cancer patients. good job Dr. Dennis Slamon! :)
